An Exalted Orb is a currency item in Path of Exile 2 that adds a new random modifier to a rare item, and in practice serves as a common unit of trade between players.
Example: when a price says “5 ex,” that’s five Exalted Orbs. Nobody is being fancy; that’s just the money.
